Miton's Chimes joins Liontrust as head of global distribution

Previously held roles at Credit Suisse and Henderson

Liontrust has hired Ian Chimes, sales and marketing director at Miton Group, as head of global distribution.

Chimes (pictured) joined Miton as sales and marketing director following the acquisition of Psigma Asset Management in 2013, where he had previously worked as managing director. Before joining Psigma, Chimes also worked as a managing director at Credit Suisse Asset Management, and sales and marketing director at Henderson Global Investors. He has resigned from his role at Miton to join Liontrust as head of global distribution, reporting to chief executive John Ions.
