Canada Life Investments expands fixed income range with short duration credit fund

Canada Life Investments has launched a short duration corporate bond fund for Michael Count and Steve Matthews.

The CF Canlife Short Duration Corporate Bond fund aims to capture the yields offered by high quality corporate issuers, while limiting the impact of any potential move higher in interest rates. The fund will focus on minimising risk and protecting against downside losses, in line with the firm's philosophy across its fixed income range. Count and Matthews will be supported by the group's credit analysis team, which looks at over 400 issuers, including the key names in UK corporate issues.
