Woodford IM to hire former Standard Life director for top governance role

Woodford Investment Management is lining up former Standard Life director Marcia Campbell as the next chair of its oversight board.

According to Sky News, Campbell is being lined up to replace outgoing chair Mary Reilly, who is stepping down two years after the launch of the firm headed by Neil Woodford (pictured). Campbell spent two decades at Standard Life in various roles which included running its operation in the Asia Pacific region, before leaving the firm in 2010. She is also a non-executive director of Sainsbury's Bank, Murray International Trust and Canada Life.
