Neptune hires ex-Brewin Dolphin Butcher for new wealth arm

Neptune Investment Management has hired Matt Butcher, former head of research at Brewin Dolphin, to head up a yet-to-be-launched wealth management arm.

The group said the business is in the very early stages of planning with Butcher (pictured) and former Rathbones private client investment manager James Cliff, who also joined recently as investment director, carrying out research on the type of model they want to run, which services will be outsourced, and branding.
