Obama: Why Britons should reject Brexit

The US President, Barack Obama, has called on Britons to reject an exit from the European Union in the June vote, as he said EU membership enhances Britain's global leadership.

During a three-day visit to the UK, Obama said the outcome of the poll is a "matter of deep interest to the US" as he warned of the repercussions of a Brexit. "The European Union does not moderate British influence - it magnifies it. A strong Europe is not a threat to Britain's global leadership; it enhances Britain's global leadership," he said, according to Bloomberg.
