PineBridge Investments poaches new CEO from SSGA

Multi-asset specialist PineBridge Investments has hired its new chief executive from State Street Global Advisors, replacing interim CEO Stephen Fitzgerald.

Gregory Ehret will become chief executive of the firm effective from 25 January, moving from SSGA, where he was president and a member of the executive management group. Fitzgerald was appointed interim CEO after the group's previous chief executive David Jiang resigned from his role in March. He will continue in his role of deputy chairman, which he has held since 2013.
