Exploring case for adding equity crowdfunding securities

The UK government will allow crowdfunded debt securities issued by companies to be held within Innovative Finance ISAs and is exploring the case for adding equity crowdfunding securities in due course.

In its response to a consultation on the issue, it said that draft legislation setting out the government's approach to implementing this change will follow technical discussions with interested parties....
