Prudential UK CEO Hunt exits after two years

Jackie Hunt, the chief executive of Prudential UK & Europe, has left the provider with immediate effect.

Hunt joined the provider from rival Standard Life two years ago.  Before joining Standard Life in 2009, Hunt held a number of senior leadership roles within the UK insurance industry, first at Royal & Sun Alliance and then at Aviva. John Foley has been named as her interim successor. Foley, currently group investment director, will fill the role alongside his current duties until a permanent successor is announced in due course, the company said in a note to the stock exchange.
