Sarasin hires fund manager duo from CCLA

Pair will oversee UK and global mandates

Sarasin & Partners has hired a pair of fund managers from charity investment manager CCLA.

Simon Steele and Neil Mitchell, who were responsible for UK and Global equity portfolios at CCLA, will now run a combination of segregated and pooled equity mandates for Sarasin, reporting to David Allen, head of asset management at Sarasin. Steele will co-manage Sarasin's global equity income mandates alongside lead fund manager Darryl Lucas, while Mitchell will work as co-manager on the company's UK mandates alongside Jennifer Ramsey and Phil Collins.
