Brown Shipley acquires Hampton Dean for advice push

Brown Shipley has acquired financial planning business Hampton Dean for an undisclosed amount.

The Nottingham-based firm will become a subsidiary of Brown Shipley and form a core part of its strategy "to build and deliver a leading financial advice proposition", the wealth firm said. Ultimately acting as Brown Shipley's Nottingham office, Hampton Dean's focus in the UK medical sector will add a new area of expertise to the business, it added.
