SLI head Skeoch to replace Nish as Standard Life chief

Keith Skeoch, current chief executive of Standard Life Investments, is to take over from David Nish as head of parent company Standard Life.

Nish will step down on 5 August 2015 after six years as chief executive and nine years as a director of the company. He will be succeeded by Skeoch following a "rigorous succession planning process and regulatory approval". Skeoch will continue in his role as head of SLI, a position he has held since 2004, until the transition is complete. The group is yet to announce his successor as head of the asset management arm.
