Ashcourt managing director joins Towry as head of sales

Towry has appointed Ashcourt Rowan's managing director Steve Midgley as head of sales strategy and operations following its acquisition of the firm.

In his newly created role Midgley (pictured) will be based in the firm's Leeds office and will work alongside Towry's private client team. Midgley joined Ashcourt Rowan in 2013 as managing director of its financial planning arm and was also a board member. In that role he developed the financial planning unit's proposition, pricing and growth strategy. Midgley has previously worked in financial planning and sales for National Australia Group, Clysedale Bank and Yorkshire Bank.
