Alliance Trust Investments add two funds to risk-rated range

Alliance Trust Investments (ATI) is to launch two new funds for its ethical risk-rated range.

The new funds, set to launch tomorrow, are named Sustainable Future Defensive Managed fund and Sustainable Future Cautious Managed fund, run by head of sustainable and responsible investment Peter Michaelis (pictured). Michaelis will be supported by co-manager Simon Clements and Stuart McMaster, who is responsible for the fixed income part of the portfolios. The Defensive Managed fund will typically hold around 45% of assets in equities with the rest in bonds and cash while the Cautious Managed fund will typically hold 60% equities.
