Ex-Brewin head of research Butcher joins Dart Capital

Matthew Butcher, former head of research at Brewin Dolphin, has joined Dart Capital following a short break from the industry.

Butcher (pictured), who spent nine years at his former firm before his departure last October, has joined London-based Dart Capital as investment director, the group confirmed. In his new role Butcher will be responsible for investment research, as well as portfolio management. Owned and managed by majority shareholders Richard Whitehead and Matthew Wille, Dart currently has around £250m in assets under management.
