Schroders has appointed Alex Tedder from American Century Investments as head of global equities.
In his previous role, Tedder was senior vice president and co-head of global and non-US large cap strategies, managing $21bn of assets and a 15-strong team. Virginie Maisonneuve, previously head of global and international equities, left the group in October to become head of equities at PIMCO. Tedder will assume his new role in June, taking over responsibility for the business management and strategic planning of the global and international equities team from Peter Harrison.
