Neuberger Berman hires former AXA IM head of high yield

Neuberger Berman has appointed former AXA IM manager Andrew Wilmont to head its Euro high yield team.

Wilmont (pictured), who joins from Alcentra where he was Euro HY head, will run a new European high yield fund as part of an expansion of the firm's non-US fund range. EMEA head Dik van Lomwel said: "Andrew's appointment reflects our commitment to building a complete suite of global non-investment grade solutions for investors. "We are thrilled that he has chosen to join Neuberger Berman as his skills will form a strong complement to our existing high yield offering".
