Aberforth co-founder Warnock to join Seneca as chairman

Aberforth Partners co-founder David Warnock is to join Seneca Investment Managers as chairman.

Seneca, which announced its proposed acquisition of Miton Capital Partners in January, is seeking to expand its UK business, and the group expects the hire of the experienced Warnock to help this. Warnock co-founded Aberforth in 1989 and retired from the business in 2008. His current roles include chairing the Troy Income & Growth trust. "Our goal is to turn Seneca Investment Managers into a leading brand within UK financial services and [Warnock's] experience, expertise and contacts will certainly make that a lot easier to achieve," said Seneca Investment Managers CEO Stuart Eaton. ...
