Threadneedle hires JPM's Grant for US equities team

J.P. Morgan Asset Management's Nadia Grant is to join Threadneedle as part of its US equities team, headed by Cormac Weldon.

Grant, who worked on a number of portfolios at JPMAM as part of the Multi-Strategy Solutions team, will join Threadneedle as a fund manager on 3 February. The appointment is subject to regulatory approval. Based in London, she will report to head of US equities Weldon (pictured). Grant's hire brings Threadneedle's US equities team headcount to ten, encompassing four fund managers and six analysts. Her move follows a 15-year stint at J.P. Morgan, encompassing roles in JPMAM's US equity team and at J.P. Morgan Private Bank.
