Miton to soft-close Williams' Multi Cap Income fund

Miton Asset Management is to soft-close the Miton UK Multi Cap Income fund at the end of the month following strong inflows.

The £182.4m fund, which is run by Gervais Williams (pictured) and Martin Turner, will soft-close to new investors with effect from 29 November. The firm is acting to limit total AUM as part of its goal to run around £550m across both the Miton UK Multi Cap Income fund and the Miton Diverse Income trust - a similar strategy which runs alongside the income fund. The Miton Diverse Income trust, also managed by Williams, currently has gross assets of £245.5m. Williams' Miton UK Multi Cap Income fund has returned 41.9% over one year, versus the IMA UK Equity Income sector average of 25....
