Jupiter has hired Robert Siddles from F&C to run US small cap portfolios at the group, with the manager bringing across his £150m US Small Cap trust.
Siddles will leave F&C at the end of the year after 12 years at the group. The board of the trust, until now run by F&C, said this morning it intended to keep Siddles as manager when he joins his new employer. The manager ran over £500m in assets at F&C, including the US Smaller Companies OEIC as well as the small-cap trust. At Jupiter, he will work alongside Sebastian Radcliffe, who runs the group's North American Income fund among other mandates. "Robert is a seasoned investor.
