Liontrust acquires North; brings Husselbee and Kim on board

Liontrust Asset Management is to acquire North Investment Partners, appointing founder John Husselbee, as well as former LV = manager Paul Kim, to run its first multi-asset proposition.

Husselbee (pictured) currently runs bespoke portfolios for IFA clients through his Wealth Solutions service, as well as multi-asset OEICS for third party clients. He will bring these portfolios across with him when he joins Liontrust. Meanwhile Kim will join Liontrust as a senior fund manager. He was previously a director at FundQuest and head of multi-manager and fund selection at LV= Asset Management, and has been working as an independent investment consultant since 2011.
