JPMAM thematic head Clarke departs

J.P. Morgan Asset Management's head of thematic investing Gary Clarke has left the firm after two of his funds were liquidated.

Clarke (pictured), who joined from Schroders in 2010, ran the JPM Global Infrastructure Trends fund, which was liquidated in August, while his Global Equity Absolute Alpha fund is expected to be wound up this year. He also managed the Global Equity and Global Unconstrained Equity funds with Peter Kirkman, who will now take over the sole running of the portfolios.
