Martin Currie expands Asian equities team

Martin Currie has appointed Michael Millar as an investment manager on its Asian equities team.

His hire follows the appointment of Damian Taylor to the Asian equities team in June, as the group continues to expand its Asian investment capabilities. He joined the group in September, based in the Edinburgh office and reporting to Andrew Graham, head of Asia. Millar (pictured) moved over from Naeem Brokerage in Cairo, where he was head of research. He has 19 years of investment experience, having spent seven years at Société Générale based in Singapore and Bangkok.
