Legg Mason brings tactical equity income fund onshore

Legg Mason Global Asset Management has launched the Legg Mason ClearBridge Tactical Dividend Income fund for UK investors.

The Dublin-domiciled fund will closely follow an existing US-based $417m strategy managed by Mark McAllister and Peter Vanderlee. It invests in income-producing equities, including high dividend stocks, energy-oriented companies, Master Limited Partnerships (MLPs) and REITs, with the aim to offer investors exposure to the improving US economy. The fund is designed to complement the UK-domiciled Legg Mason US Equity Income fund, also co-managed by Vanderlee. The annual management charge for the retail A share class will be 1.5%.
