Malcolm Murray to leave Transact

Transact head of marketing Malcolm Murray has announced his intention to depart the firm after nearly 13 years employment.

Murray said he is stepping down in order to return to running his own consultancy. Murray said: "It was in 2000, nine months after the company started, that I was approached by Transact to act as a consultant. The agreement was that I would work for one day a week and I envisaged for a period of a few months. Now twelve and a half years later, after working full time for that period, I have decided to take a step back. I will return to running my own consultancy again.
