Woodford receives CBE in Queen's Birthday Honours list

Invesco Perpetual's Neil Woodford has been awarded a CBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List.

He receives the title of Commander of the Order of the British Empire in recognition of his services to the economy. Woodford (pictured) joined Invesco Perpetual in 1988 as a fund manager on the UK equities team, later becoming head of UK equities. As well as his fund management experience, Woodford has worked in corporate finance, and has been a key respondent to consultations about the UK financial services industry.
