The final frontier? Artemis duo buy into Burma

Artemis Global Select managers Simon Edelsten and Alex Illingworth have bought into a Burma-focused real estate firm as they take advantage of an increasingly accessible market.

The managers initiated a small position in Yoma Strategic Holdings six months ago, a Burmese business listed in Singapore which has seen its share price rally as the country's economy liberalises. "Yoma are currently developing a 10-acre site in Burma and they are the main land developer in [Burmese capital] Rangoon," said Edelsten (pictured).
