BlackRock has appointed Nigel Bolton as chief investment officer for the EMEA and Asia regions.
He will be responsible for International Fundamental Equity within the Alpha Strategies group led globally by Quintin Price. Bolton (pictured), head of the European equities team, will remain in this role and will continue to run his portfolios - the €3.2bn BGF European and the €1.3bn BGF European Focus funds. His expanded role will cover the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions, where he will work closely with his counterpart Chris Leavy, CIO of Fundamental Equity Americas.
