Ex-Aviva man Casey joins Carmignac sales team

Former Aviva sales manager Nick Casey has joined Carmignac as the French group further strengthens its UK presence.

Casey, who worked at Aviva for 22 years, focusing on IFA distribution at Aviva Investors for the last six, will report to Matthew Wright, head of country, United Kingdom at Carmignac. The appointment follows two analyst hires at Carmignac at the start of 2013 as the asset manager, founded by Edouard Carmignac (pictured), expands into the UK. Former Butler Investment Managers distressed debt manager Pierre Verlé will join the group's fixed income team as a credit analyst on 21 January.
