F&C investment trust man Morse exits firm

Ed Morse, head of investment trust business development at F&C Investments, has left the firm to pursue a new opportunity in the industry.

He is the fourth high-profile name to leave F&C Thames River this year, as activist shareholder and new chairman Edward Bramson reshapes the business. Last month Mike Warren, managing director for sales and marketing, left the firm just four days before he was set to become head of F&C's retail business. His departure followed on from Charlie Porter, head of funds and investment trusts at the group, who exited the firm last month.
