First State reshuffles co-managers on Asia funds

First State has reshuffled the co-manager line-up on its £815m Asia Pacific and £510m Greater China Growth funds.

Wee-Li-Hee, who joined First State Stewart in 2002 as an investment analyst, is now co-manager of the group's Asia Pacific fund, alongside Angus Tulloch. From next April she will also become co-manager of the Scottish Oriental Smaller Companies trust, following Susie Rippingall's retirement from the industry. Meanwhile, Martin Lau has stepped down from co-managing the Asia Pacific fund to focus on running his China Growth and Greater China Growth funds. He now shares responsibility for the Greater China Growth fund with Sophia Li, formerly an analyst at the group. Fund managers ...
