Dalton SP expands multi-asset team

Investment boutique Dalton Strategic Partners has expanded its multi-asset team with the appointment of a new manager.

Luca Vaiani has joined from Italian fund manager Fondaco to work on the $14.9m Melchior Selected Trust: Global Multi Asset fund, run by chief investment officer Rupert Caldecott. In his new role, Vaiani - who spent four years at Fondaco managing a global opportunities fund - will report to Caldecott, who has managed the Melchior fund since launch in 2010.
