BlackRock's Lyttleton prepares for comeback

BlackRock's absolute return manager Mark Lyttleton is due to return to his post next week after an extended break from the industry.

Lyttleton (pictured), who left the firm in June for family reasons, returns on Monday to manage the £841m UK Absolute Alpha and £739m UK Dynamic funds. Nick Osborne, co-manager of UK Absolute Alpha, ran the fund in Lyttleton's absence, while Adam Avigdori temporarily became sole manager of the UK Dynamic fund. Assets in the UK Absolute Alpha fund have fallen considerably over the last year.
