Brooks Macdonald appoints investment director

Brooks Macdonald Asset Management (BMAM) has appointed Gemma Godfrey as investment director and head of investment strategy.

Godfrey was previously at Credo Capital, the private client wealth manager, where she was chairman of the group's investment committee. In her new role she will sit on Brooks' asset allocation committee and head up its economic research for IFAs and clients. She will be based in the firm's London office. Nick Holmes, joint managing director of BMAM, said: "We are delighted to welcome Gemma to our team and see this as an important strategic hire for the London business.
