Morningstar has unveiled its inaugural investment trust ratings, with Anthony Bolton's Fidelity China Special Situations trust given a ‘neural' rating by the new ranking system.
The research house has dished out ratings to 32 investment trusts, giving portfolio's either a gold, silver, bronze, neutral or negative rating. The group has awarded a ‘gold' rating to 6 investment trusts, which includes BlackRock's Evy Hambro and Henderson's Job Curtis. Gold ratings have been awarded to BlackRock Smaller Companies trust, BlackRock World Mining, City of London, Murray International, Scottish Mortgage and Perpetual Income & Growth.
