M&G Investments is set to launch a global equity fund for David Williams next month as part of an ongoing move to merge parent Prudential's retail offerings into its fund range.
M&G has unveiled plans to merge a further four Prudential funds into its range, with the £239m Prudential Global Growth trust merged into a new fund - the M&G International Specialist Equity fund. The fund will be managed by David Williams, who currently heads up the Prudential Global Growth trust. Williams is also deputy manager of the £7bn M&G Recovery fund. The new fund will launch in February, subject to unitholder approval, and will sit in the IMA Global sector.
