Troy hires ex-Lazard manager for Trojan Capital

Gabrielle Boyle has joined Troy Asset Management to work on its £59m Trojan Capital fund.

Boyle joins from NewSmith Capital Partners, where she was lead manager on the NewSmith Global Alpha fund, having previously been senior managing director and portfolio manager for global and international equities at Lazard for 17 years. Troy has also promoted Hugo Ure and Sean Beck to become investment managers. Ure joined from Kleinwort Benson in 2009, while Sean joined from Rathbone Unit Trust Management in the same year. Ure and Beck will work with Boyle, Francis Brooke and Troy CEO Sebastian Lyon on the £58m Spectrum fund.
