Schroders launches Brazilian Equity fund

Schroders has launched a concentrated Brazilian Equity fund that seeks to benefit from the country's domestic growth story.

The Schroder ISF Brazilian Equity fund, managed by Schroders head of Brazilian equities Carlos Scretas, will invest in between 20 and 40 companies, with its portfolio benchmarked against the MSCI Brazil 10/40 Index. Richard Mountford, Schroders' global head of intermediary business, said investors are increasingly looking to Brazilian equities as an asset class in their own right rather than as a part of an investment in emerging markets as a whole.
