Majedie subsidary Javelin to launch EM alpha fund

Majedie Investments' subsidiary and manager Javelin Capital is set to launch an emerging markets fund in July.

The Javelin Capital Emerging Markets Alpha fund will be seeded with a £15m investment from the Majedie investment trust. This is the second UCITS III fund the group has made available for UK investors. The first offering was the Javelin Capital Global Equities Strategies fund which came to the market last September. Last year, Majedie Investments' management contract transferred to Javelin Capital, a 70% subsidiary of the investment company.
