Barca and Man Utd to battle for £109m prize

The winner of tomorrow night's Champions League final will pocket £109m for just one game, sponsor MasterCard has revealed.

The clash, the pinnacle of club football, is set to be fought out between Spanish champions FC Barcelona and Premier League title holders Manchester United at Wembley. However, the runner-up will receive £73m for finishing second, with this year's final the most lucrative in European club football's history. London is expected to rake in £45m for hosting the spectacle, with £15m alone coming from tourism.
