Alliance Trust Asset Management is planning to launch a global equity income fund later this year as it looks to expand its retail product offering.
The fund will invest in a range of securities around the globe, and follows the launch of similar funds by a number of groups including BNY Mellon, which recently unveiled a Global Equity Higher Income fund for James Harries. Edward Troughton, managing director of Alliance, said: “We have plans to launch a global equity income fund.
