Henderson's Bill McQuaker has reshaped the group's multi-manager range, giving it a greater European focus.
McQuaker has been buying into developed European markets in the £553m Multi-Manager Income & Growth fund, while also boosting European exposure in the £127m Multi-Manager Distribution fund. McQuaker believes distress in the eurozone has moderated and the area has been lifted by financial stocks’ strong performance so far this year. “European equity markets outperformed their developed counterparts over January as they were boosted by the financial sector,” McQuaker says. “Tensions in peripheral Europe were eased following successful debt issuance from Portugal, Italy, and Spain. ...
