J.P. Morgan Asset Management has launched a Global Mining fund for Neil Gregson, expanding the firm's range of natural resources products.
The new fund will invest primarily in companies engaged in mining or mining related activities anywhere in the world. The fund will invest in 50-100 stocks across the market cap spectrum. Gregson, who joined JPM last year, has over 20 years of experience in natural resources, having previously managed a mining fund at Credit Suisse Asset Management. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Gregson was a senior portfolio manager and head of long-only business at CQS Asset Management, where he specialised in natural resources.
