Swiss & Global launches European absolute return fund

Swiss & Global Asset Management has expanded its range with the launch of the Julius Baer Absolute Return Europe Equity fund.

The fund employs three investment strategies with the aim of delivering returns throughout the market cycle, with less risk than equity markets and low correlation to other asset classes. The main source of returns is a sector neutral strategy based on between 50 and 80 long and short positions. Andy Kastner, the lead manager, pairs each long position with an equally weighted short from the same sector to keep the fund sector and market neutral.
