Thorpe to lead Cazenove UK retail business

Cazenove has promoted Rob Thorpe to the newly-created head of UK retail position.

Thorpe, previously head of UK advisory, will have a main focus on implementing the group's retail strategy ahead of the RDR. Cazenove says Thorpe has already delivered strong distribution growth in the life company, platform and national IFA firm spaces. Thorpe has also pioneered TCF initiatives with key distributors and built strong partnerships in adviser education ahead of anticipated new CPD requirements for the RDR, the group says.
