Aegon's Purdie joins Aviva SRI team

Aegon's Colin Purdie has joined Aviva as a SRI credit fund manager, taking on the lead management of the Sustainable Future Corporate Bond fund.

As well running credit portfolios, he will work with Aviva's socially responsible investment team to assess credit using environmental, social and governance criteria. The team as a whole manages about £2.6bn of assets. Purdie is based in London and reports to Peter Michaelis, the head of SRI. At Aegon Purdie was involved in the running of two sterling credit funds with £250m of assets under management, as well as other institutional and insured funds.
