BNP Paribas opens Euro volatility to UK investors

BNP Paribas is offering its Vol Edge fund to UK investors for the first time.

Managed by subsidiary Harewood Asset Management, the fund is indexed to the forward implied volatility of the DJ Eurostoxx 50, measured via the VStoxx. The fund was first launched in 2007. Sisouphan Tran, Head of Harewood Solutions & Privalto UK, says the fund offers a hedge against equity volatility and protection against the problems of cross-asset correlation in declining markets.
