Investec Asset Management's AUM has risen to an all-time high of £41bn after a record £3.7bn net inflow in the nine months to end December 2009.
The firm says its assets have grown 43% since the March market lows last year, following strong interest across global equities, commodities and fixed income. Investec says it has noted increased activity across all its markets, with particularly robust flows originating from Africa, Europe and the Americas. It has also benefited from strong investment performance, with over 95% of strategies outperforming their respective benchmarks since inception.
