Barings creates new Asian equities role

Baring Asset Management has appointed Colin Ng to its Asia Pacific investment team in the new position of head of Asian equities.

Ng, who was previously head of Asia Pacific equities at MFC Global Investment Management, will be based in Hong Kong and will report to head of Asia Pacific investment Henry Chan. He will be responsible for the range of regional Asian and single country funds excluding those focused on China.
