Investec Asset Management has launched three new funds for its Luxembourg-domiciled GSF range - which utilise full Ucits III powers in the energy, natural resources and currency sectors.
The Investec GSF Enhanced Global Energy fund - run by Mark Lacey and Jonathan Waghorn - takes both long and short positions in energy-related equities, commodities and derivatives in a bid to provide smoother returns throughout the market cycle. In volatility terms, the new product sits between Lacey and Waghorn's £224.8m long-only Global Energy vehicle and the duo's soft-launched hedge fund.
